I make creative things for brands that I love — online courses, videos, written content, events, integrated marketing plans, and whatever else will make an impact to grow your audience in a genuine way. Ten years of experience in the advertising, design, nonprofit, and tech startup industries have given me a unique perspective on how all media can be interconnected to tell a compelling brand story. I'd be thrilled to help tell yours.
I am currently the head of the Education Production Team at Foundr.com – a digital magazine, podcast and online learning community created for entrepreneurs by entrepreneurs. I’ve built the company’s course catalog to 10+ in-depth online courses in less than a year, generating millions of dollars, doubling the company’s revenue in 2018, and helping 10,000 entrepreneurs start and grow a game-changing business.
Before that, I was a Content Producer at Skillshare.com – an online learning community teaching creative professional skills to over 5 million students. My team was responsible for producing high-quality video classes with top influencers and companies across Design, Photography, Marketing, Business, Writing and Film.
At Skillshare I produced video courses and managed relationships with Skillshare's top-tier partners, including Twitter, Kickstarter, Wacom, MailChimp, Getty Images, Bloglovin', Patreon, Jessica Walsh, Keith Yamashita, Mikey Burton, and DKNG Studios.
The classes I produced have generated over 440,000 enrollments to Skillshare, resulting in a high level of user engagement (9 million minutes-watched), customer retention, and paid upgrades to Premium Annual Membership.
Previously, I was the Director of Community at the Art Directors Club (ADC Global, now merged with The One Club for Creativity), leading creative production, membership, event production, and digital/social content strategy to grow the club's online and offline communities.
Highlights include bringing to life the 3-day ADC Festival of Art and Craft in Miami Beach; managing creative assets, event production and social media strategy for Portfolio Night™ (the world's largest simultaneous advertising portfolio review and recruitment event); producing the club's iconic rebranding, Webby-nominated site redesign, and award-winning iPad app/case. Not to mention, growing ADC's online community to over 350,000.
Prior to that, I cut my teeth as a copywriter at Masterminds Advertising, specializing in social media and digital concepts as well as TV and radio scripts. I helped build a social media content team and app development studio at the agency, which now influences the majority of their work.
Born and raised in New Jersey by a chef and a writer, I grew up with a built-in passion for creativity. Shadowing my grandparents in their wildlife art gallery only added to my curiosity for making things. I now live in Brooklyn with my fiancée. More often than not, you can catch me wandering around NYC — taking photos, eating, and making sure Fitbit doesn't yell at me for not having enough steps.
