About Me
TL;DR
I’m a product marketing manager and producer who is passionate about platforms that fuel the future of work.
Certified by Product School, with 13 years’ experience in marketing, advertising and media — 7 of those years in SaaS startups — I’ve built an eclectic skillset for developing and going to market with painkiller digital products.
2022
I was most recently the Product Marketing Director at Punchlist, a collaboration layer over your creative work that allows you to eliminate back-and-forth and get your projects done fast and frictionlessly. Punchlist is a seed-stage SaaS product used by 10,000+ people from companies like Anomaly, MediaMonks, Shopify, NCR, Salesforce and Edgar Allan.
2017–2021
I spent 4 years as the Product Manager / Education Team Lead at Foundr.com – an online learning community for entrepreneurs, by entrepreneurs. I built the company’s course catalog from the ground up into a suite of 30+ digital products (online video courses + LMS), helping 50,000+ entrepreneurs start and grow their dream business.
As employee #5, I collaborated cross-functionally to build the education & video departments, oversee development of all digital products, go-to-market and iterate based on student feedback. We 10x’ed the company to 8-figure annual revenue with 50 team members in 12 countries — all bootstrapped (never accepting advertisers nor taking a dollar of VC investment).
I co-teach Foundr’s course on “how to produce a top-selling digital product” – Rapid Course Formula – with Foundr’s CEO, Nathan Chan.
At Foundr I had the opportunity to work with some of the world’s best and brightest entrepreneurs, including Shark Tank’s Daymond John (FUBU), Alexa Von Tobel (LearnVest and Inspired Capital), Mitch Harper (BigCommerce), Gretta Van Riel (5-time multimillion-dollar ecommerce founder), Oli Gardner (Unbounce), the co-founders of Warby Parker, and more.
2015–2017
Before Foundr, I joined the early Skillshare team as Content Manager (employee #16) – scaling the EdTech platform to now over 15 million students worldwide. My team was responsible for producing high-quality digital products (video classes) with top influencers and company partners across Design, Photography, Marketing, Business, Writing and Film.
At Skillshare I produced video courses and managed stakeholder relationships with Skillshare's top-tier partners, including Twitter, Kickstarter, Wacom, MailChimp, Getty Images, Patreon, Jessica Walsh, Keith Yamashita, Mikey Burton, and DKNG Studios.
The 70+ classes I produced have generated 500,000+ enrollments to Skillshare, resulting in a high level of user engagement (10 million minutes-watched), customer retention, and paid membership upgrades.
2012–2015
Previously, I was the Director of Community and Creative Production Manager at the Art Directors Club (ADC Global, now merged with The One Club for Creativity), leading creative production, membership, event production, and digital/social content strategy to grow the club's online and offline communities.
Highlights include:
Managing the product development of ADC’s first-ever iPad app with 8 stakeholders remotely, including Brazilian dev studio The Goodfellas and motion designer Monica Eunji Kim;
Bringing to life the 3-day ADC Festival of Art and Craft in Miami Beach with 500 guests from around the world;
Managing creative assets, event production and social media strategy for Portfolio Night™ (the world's largest advertising portfolio review and recruitment event);
Producing the club's iconic rebranding with SID LEE, Webby-nominated site redesign with Franklin, iPad app and award-winning iPad case with RM&CO;
Growing ADC's online community to over 350,000 creatives by developing and executing their social media strategy, and unifying 8 sub-brands under the ADC Global umbrella.
2009–2012
I cut my teeth as a copywriter at Masterminds Advertising, specializing in social media and digital production as well as TV and radio ads. I helped build a social media team + Facebook App Development Studio at the agency, which now influences the majority of their client work.
PERSONAL
Born and raised in New Jersey by a chef/restaurateur and a writer-turned-dog-trainer, I grew up with a built-in passion for creativity.
Shadowing my grandparents in their Main Street art gallery only added to my curiosity for visual production.
I now live in Brooklyn, NYC with my wife Caroline and our dog, Cody Coyote. We love to travel the world and wander around the city.
Let's connect on LinkedIn, and maybe even chat over a real-life beer someday.
All in a day’s work
“If something difficult, unpleasant, or strange is all in a day's work for someone, it is a usual part of their job.”
You might be wondering, why is this website called allinadays.work?
To me, this phrase sums up the job of a producer, product marketer, and anyone working in a SaaS startup. In the fast-paced world in which we work, change is the only constant.
I take pride in resourcefulness and adaptability. Being able to pivot when shit hits the fan. And keeping a cool head to find creative solutions on the fly.
Personally, I feel you can only PLAN for about 80% of what might happen. The other 20% — well, that’s where creativity, discernment, and quick decision-making come into play.
